galations 2:20 - "I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me". giving everything to God is one of the hardest but most significant things you will ever do. when you surrender to Christ, you give your highest highs and your lowest lows to him. he says you are worth more than what you are labeled as, what people think of you, and what people expect from you. you are his child and that is the only label he will ever put on you. when the world tells us we arent enough God shows us that we are. when you surrender everything to him he will change your life. things that seemed impossible before will become the everyday routine; no matter where you start, once you give sumbit yourself you will end with him. it can be scary giving it all to God, but when you give everything to him you are giving away your pain, all of the scars, the addictions, the late night tears, and everything that made you feel less than you are worth. it can seem like those things are permanate and that they will always be in the back of your mind, in your mirror, and on your wrists but God wipes you clean. he says "you are made new when you are made with me". no matter who you are before you meet Christ, you will never be the same afterwards. you can expect to see things in a better light, smile constantly, and blessings beyond beleif. but not everyday will be smooth sailing; you will go thorugh more storms than you can count, but you will have the best captain to guide you throughout everything you go though. i hope you all have a great Easter weekend, and feel free to email me or direct message me on my instagram if you have any prayer requests or feedback!
